Film Nights: Jojo Rabbit

  • Wu Wei Tea Temple 1820 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Fairfax, CA, 94930 United States (map)

Join us Wednesday February 22nd @7pm for, 'Jojo Rabbit.' From director Taika Waititi, ‘Jojo Rabbit’ tells the fictional tale of a 10-year-old boy growing up in Nazi Germany who is a member of the Hitler Youth Program and discovers that his mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their home. Told through the child's perspective with equal parts comedy and tragedy, the tale is extraordinary in how it reveals a portrait of a boy whose ascribed beliefs do not match his goodness. Adapted from Christine Leunen’s 2008 book, ‘Caging Skies’ the film went on to win Best Adapted Screenplay at the Academy Awards in 2020. 108 min
