Join us this Wednesday May the 11th at 8pm for ‘Mary and Max.’ Mary Daisy Dinkle is a lonely 8-year-old girl growing up in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Max Jerry Horovitz lives in New York City, he’s an elderly jewish man who suffers from a slew of mental health issues. The two begin an unlikely friendship when Mary decides to pick Max H. out of a phonebook and ask him, “Where do babies come from in America?” This 2009 Australian stop-motion animation is charming, beautiful, humorous and touching. It will find a special place to reside in your heart.
