Join us Saturday, December 27th at 8pm for a special performance by SORIAH.
SORIAH is the stage name of Enrique Ugalde, an internationally recognized throat singer and ritual artist. His work combines Tuvan throat singing with modern soundscapes, creating a unique blend of traditional and contemporary music.
Tuvan throat singing is a rare vocal style from Siberia known for producing deep drones and multiple tones at once. SORIAH also incorporates pre-Columbian instruments, elements of Indian raga, and looping techniques to build layered, atmospheric pieces. His lyrics are often in Nahuatl or Tuvan, reflecting his connection to cultural traditions.
We look forward to seeing you there.
