Liz Nichols says she got lost in the 398 Folklore & Mythology section of the library at age 10 and hasn’t found her way out yet. Tonight, the 2026 Storytelling Association of California’s Regional Gem winner takes us through Japan, China, and some of her other favorite places.

This is a professional storytelling event intended for adult audiences, not children. The evening is donation-based, and all money collected goes directly to the storyteller.
